Evoking a response

Designing for Constraints has had me thinking specifically about different ways to place events, thoughts, feelings, etc. at the forefront of my projects that I otherwise wouldn’t have taken into account. The other day I began to think about how modeling on a final responsive outcome is actually a great way to start working on a project that has a blank slate. I’m creating a list of responses that I find intriguing when I view other projects. Responses I can use to begin building a project around without having to force physical or definitive concepts on. Help out if you have any that come to mind!

how did he do that?

i never thought of that!

how did he put that/those together?

how does that work?

how did he get that to work?

does/doesn’t that mean…

what if I were to…

I wouldn’t have thought that would work, but it does

oh I get it…

is that real?

that makes me feel…

that’s a good way of saying it…
